Refund policy

If for any reason the Client is not satisfied with an order, the item/s can be returned for Size/Colour Exchange, Store Credit or Refund within 28 days of the order’s delivery date. It should be noted that all of our products undergo strict quality control during all phases of production and prior to release to store or client. Product descriptions provided are generic to the style and/or family of style. Our products are made with genuine leather and eventual variations in colour shades and small superficial imperfections may occur. Therefore they can never be considered defective when such imperfections are not obviously caused by other damages throughout production and/or packaging. On the contrary, they represent characteristic details that guarantee the exclusive value of the product and the excellent quality of leather used as well the treatment employed.

To exercise this right you must send a notice within 10 days from the date of receipt of merchandise (as D.Legge 21 of 21.2.2014) and send the goods within a further 18 days of that communication after receiving authorisation for the return.

WHO 

The right of withdrawal excludes purchases made by retailers or by persons who in any way purchase for resale to third parties.

WHAT

The client, according to the most recent Italian legislation (Legislative Decree 185 of 22/5/1999), has the right to cancel the contract within 10 days of receipt of the goods, returning the product covered by the withdrawal to GABIFlorence, who will reimburse the price of the goods returned. GABIFlorence guarantees a full refund with the exception of import duties, shipping charges and local taxes.

HOW

Firstly, you must contact GABI Florence customer service by email (info@gabiflorence.com) quoting your order number and a declaration that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, indicating all the information requested (your order number and which products must be subject to withdrawal). On receipt of return instruction back from GABIflorence, the products for which the right is exercised must be returned within a further 15 days. 

 

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In accordance with the European law, shipping charges and any custom duty taxes in Italy will be charged to the customer.  Our products are offered with shipping included, so please be aware that if you return the product our actual outbound shipping and handling costs will be deducted from your return refund.  
  • In the case of defective or incorrect merchandise, we invite Clients to immediately contact info@gabiflorence.com. GABIFlorence reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return. 
  • In the event that you have received your order but have ‘changed your mind’,  a 15% administrative/re-stocking fee will be applicable.  Please note that our leather goods are shipped to you from Italy and as such we do incur shipping, stocking, custom and packaging fees.
  • GABIFlorence will examine returned merchandise on its arrival for evaluation. Damaged items will not be accepted for return or exchange. 
  • E-Gift cards are non refundable

 

Only after contacting GABIFlorence & activating the withdrawal process may you proceed with returning goods to us.  Should you send goods without prior approval they will not be accepted by GABIFlorence. GABIFlorence reserves the right to refuse returns that are unauthorized and to return them to the sender.  All necessary precautions should be taken so as to protect the goods from any potential damage through shipping. GABIFlorence reserves the right to refuse receipt of goods should there be any non-compliance of the above mentioned procedures.

It is recommended that you use a courier or other delivery method suitable to allow the tracking of the shipment and insurance. It is understood that GABIFlorence will not reimburse the value of the goods covered by the withdrawal if we are not in receipt of the goods with proof of delivery.

EXCLUSION (Decreto Legislativo 22/5/1999 n.185)

 

There is no right of withdrawal for sales of goods that have been custom made, made to measure or personalized.

 

REFUND PROCESS

Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted by GABIFlorence.

For orders paid by Credit Card, the refunded amount will be available to Clients in roughly 10 days and within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the Credit Card Company.

Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase.
